This compression packing is supplied in Graphite Filament Packing supplied with a 3/4 inch square cross section, catalogued under part number 11750750-10. Graphite Filament Packing is specified here for near-zero creep relaxation under load and conformability that seals imperfect flange faces. The material holds up against steam, most chemicals across the pH range, and very high temperature. It should not be specified for service in highly oxidizing service above rated temperature or strong oxidizing acids.

Typical settings include high-temperature process piping, power generation, and exhaust and flue gas.
