Ordered as MOSV-035-047-007-SC, this is a Viton® (FKM) Single Case Oil Seal with a 035 inch inside diameter, a 047 inch outside diameter, and a height of 007 inch. This material stands up to aromatic hydrocarbons, petroleum oils and fuels, and engine and transmission fluids. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. Applications involving amines or hot water and steam call for a different compound.
