The V3.5X59 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 59 mm (2.323 in), a cross section of 3.5 mm (0.138 in), and an outside diameter of 66 mm (2.6 in). This o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) delivers outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and aggressive chemicals. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It is not the right choice where hot water and steam or amines are present.

Common environments for this compound include aerospace, high-temperature process equipment, and semiconductor equipment.
