Ordered as V3.5X85, this is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 85 mm (3.346 in), a cross section of 3.5 mm (0.138 in), and an outside diameter of 92 mm (3.62 in). The o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The compound resists aromatic hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and many acids. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
