TST370SO is an AS568-370 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 8.225 in (208.92 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 8.645 in (219.58 mm). In service, this back-up ring installs on the low-pressure side of an o-ring to prevent extrusion into the clearance gap at elevated pressure.

Expect good resistance to steam, nearly all industrial chemicals, and solvents. PTFE (Teflon) offers near-universal chemical inertness and a very wide continuous service temperature range. The material carries a published service range of -65°F (-53.9°C) to 500°F (260°C). Verify compatibility before use with service requiring elastic recovery or elemental fluorine at temperature.

Typical settings include semiconductor fabrication, pharmaceutical and biotech, and laboratory equipment.
