Ordered as 0284375, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock built to a cross section of 0.375 in (9.53 mm). The o-ring cord stock supports field repair of oversized or non-standard sealing grooves without a special tooling charge.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) delivers the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer and an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. This material stands up to petroleum-based oils, hydraulic fluids, and many alcohols. It should not be specified for service in ozone and direct sunlight or automotive brake fluid.
