Part number 0283375 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock measuring a cross section of 0.375 in (9.53 mm). An o-ring cord stock supports field repair of oversized or non-standard sealing grooves without a special tooling charge.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. Expect good resistance to aromatic hydrocarbons, many acids, and chlorinated solvents. It should not be specified for service in amines or hot water and steam.

It sees regular use in aerospace, semiconductor equipment, and automotive fuel systems.
