This o-ring cord stock is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 90 Shore A measuring a cross section of 0.375 in (9.53 mm), catalogued under part number 0283H375. It supports field repair of oversized or non-standard sealing grooves without a special tooling charge.

Viton® (FKM) offers long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments, excellent resistance to compression set and permeation. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, chlorinated solvents, and engine and transmission fluids. Exposure to amines or low-molecular-weight organic acids will shorten service life.
