TST375SO is an AS568-375 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 9.475 in (240.67 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 9.895 in (251.33 mm). In service, this back-up ring allows a standard o-ring to operate at higher pressures than it could unsupported.

This material stands up to nearly all industrial chemicals, steam, and oxidizing media. PTFE (Teflon) is specified for near-universal chemical inertness and one of the lowest coefficients of friction of any solid. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 500°F (260°C). Verify compatibility before use with molten alkali metals or elemental fluorine at temperature.
