0297375X500 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A rectangle profile O-Ring Cord Stock. In service, this o-ring cord stock lets you fabricate a custom-size seal on site by cutting and splicing to the required circumference.

Viton® (FKM) is specified here for outstanding high-temperature capability and industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit. Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, chlorinated solvents, and petroleum oils and fuels. It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters.
