3/8" CARBON YARN WITH I.W. PACKING

11820375-01 is a Braided Inconel Wire Compression Packing built to a 3/8 inch square cross section. In service, this compression packing provides field-serviceable shaft sealing that can be adjusted and topped up without disassembling the pump. Source specification: 1 LB. Box - Approx. 11 FT.

The material holds up against elevated temperature and pressure, process media, and shaft wear. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Braided Inconel Wire is known for dependable service life when correctly adjusted, controlled leakage that lubricates and cools the shaft. Rated for service to approximately 1200°F. It is not the right choice where over-tightening of the gland or running dry without flush are present.
