3/8" GFO GRAPHITE/PTFE PACKING

Ordered as 11800375-01, this is a G.F.O. Packing Compression Packing supplied with a 3/8 inch square cross section. The compression packing offers the most economical repairable shaft seal for pumps and valves. Source specification: 1 LB. Box - Approx. 11 FT.

G.F.O. Packing is specified here for field-cuttable rings for fast, inexpensive repacking and braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box. Expect good resistance to shaft wear, process media, and elevated temperature and pressure. Rated for service to approximately 550°F. It should not be specified for service in running dry without flush or over-tightening of the gland.
