3/8" NON-ASBESTOS ARAMID FIBER PACKING

The material holds up against elevated temperature and pressure, shaft wear, and process media. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aramid Filament Packing is widely chosen for dependable service life when correctly adjusted and a braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box. Rated for service to approximately 500°F. It is not the right choice where running dry without flush or over-tightening of the gland are present.

It sees regular use in water and process plants, mixers and rotary equipment, and valves and agitators.
