Graphite Filament Packing is specified here for near-zero creep relaxation under load and exceptional temperature capability well beyond elastomeric materials. Expect good resistance to fire exposure, very high temperature, and most chemicals across the pH range. It should not be specified for service in highly oxidizing service above rated temperature or strong oxidizing acids.
