Part number TST384SO is an AS568-384 white PTFE (Teflon) 55 Shore D Back-Up Ring measuring an inside diameter of 14.975 in (380.37 mm), a cross section of 0.21 in (5.33 mm), and an outside diameter of 15.395 in (391.03 mm). A back-up ring bridges the extrusion gap so the primary seal holds its shape under load.

As a material, PTFE (Teflon) delivers excellent dielectric properties and a very wide continuous service temperature range.
