Stainless Steel is known for long service life in demanding outdoor environments and a hygienic, cleanable surface suited to sanitary process lines. Expect good resistance to chemical attack, high pressure, and corrosion and oxidation. It is not the right choice where chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals are present.
