The 3I6496 is a Stainless Steel Worm Drive Hose Clamp supplied with an adjustment range of 4 1/2 inch to 6 1/2 inch. This worm drive hose clamp provides even clamping force with a band that will not cut into the hose. Source specification: Min 4 1/2 Max 6 1/2.

Stainless Steel is specified here for long service life in demanding outdoor environments, high mechanical strength and pressure capability. This material stands up to chemical attack, elevated temperature, and salt water and washdown. Applications involving chloride stress cracking in some grades or galvanic pairing with dissimilar metals call for a different compound.
