4" DUST PLUG BRASS TOUGH-TITE

APG stocks the 3E40DPBR, a Tough-Tite Brass Dust Plug Cam and Groove Coupling built to a 4 inch nominal size. A cam and groove coupling closes off a male adapter to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

Brass is specified for excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads and good strength with dependable sealing at threaded joints. The compound resists atmospheric exposure, moderate pressure, and corrosion in water service. Exposure to ammonia and amine compounds or strong acids will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in water and irrigation, petroleum transfer, and general industrial.
