Ordered as H4X315, this is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 315 mm (12.402 in), a cross section of 4 mm (0.157 in), and an outside diameter of 323 mm (12.72 in). The o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for reliable performance in both static and dynamic service, low compression set under sustained load. This material stands up to many alcohols, water, and propane and butane. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). It is not the right choice where ketones or polar solvents are present.
