4 STEEL PLATED COMBINATION NIPPLE

3TCNP0400 is an APG Carbon Steel Combination Nipple measuring a 4 inch nominal size. In service, this combination nipple joins a hose shank to a male NPT thread in one piece.

The compound resists high pressure, mechanical load and impact. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Carbon Steel is specified for excellent pressure and impact capability, high mechanical strength at economical cost. It should not be specified for service in salt water immersion or corrosive media without protective coating.
