The MOSV-040-055-007-SC is a Viton® (FKM) Single Case Oil Seal supplied with a 040 inch inside diameter, a 055 inch outside diameter, and a height of 007 inch. This oil seal protects bearings by holding grease or oil in and keeping abrasives out. Source specification: Rubber Covered OD, Single Lip W/ Spring.

The compound resists engine and transmission fluids, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit.
