The 0284H437 is a black Buna-N (Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock built to a cross section of 0.437 in (11.1 mm). This o-ring cord stock supports field repair of oversized or non-standard sealing grooves without a special tooling charge.

This material stands up to hydraulic fluids, water, and propane and butane. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is widely chosen for low compression set under sustained load, strong abrasion and tear resistance. It is not the right choice where polar solvents or strong acids are present.
