Ordered as MOS-045-065-010-SC, this is a Buna-N (Nitrile) Single Case Oil Seal measuring a 045 inch inside diameter, a 065 inch outside diameter, and a height of 010 inch. The oil seal protects bearings by holding grease or oil in and keeping abrasives out. Source specification: Rubber Covered OD, Single Lip W/ Spring.

As a material, Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for strong abrasion and tear resistance, low compression set under sustained load. Expect good resistance to water, petroleum-based oils, and hydraulic fluids. It is not the right choice where strong acids or automotive brake fluid are present.
