4.5MM (.177) FLUOROELASTOMER ORING CORD

This o-ring cord stock is supplied in black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A supplied with a cross section of 0.177 in (4.5 mm), catalogued under part number 0M283V4.5. It provides continuous extruded stock for building one-off or oversized rings.

Expect good resistance to aggressive chemicals, petroleum oils and fuels, and chlorinated solvents. Viton® (FKM) is widely chosen for outstanding high-temperature capability and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. It should not be specified for service in ketones and esters or low-molecular-weight organic acids.

It sees regular use in high-temperature process equipment, aerospace, and chemical processing.
