Part number 4MHP1 is a High Pressure Gauge Glass. A gauge glass delivers durable visual indication in high-pressure steam and water service.

Expect good resistance to thermal shock, internal pressure, and chemical attack from water and steam. Borosilicate gauge glass is valued for precision-formed bore and wall thickness, borosilicate construction for thermal shock resistance. It is not the right choice where abrasive cleaning or service beyond the rated pressure and temperature are present.
