Ordered as 4MRF1, this is a Reflex Gauge Glass. The gauge glass provides a flat, pressure-rated viewing window for liquid level indication.

Borosilicate gauge glass is specified here for precision-formed bore and wall thickness, clear, direct visual indication of liquid level. The material holds up against thermal shock, internal pressure, and chemical attack from water and steam. It should not be specified for service in mechanical impact or abrasive cleaning.
