The 3E50DCBR is a Tough-Tite Brass Dust Cap Cam and Groove Coupling with a 5 inch nominal size. This cam and groove coupling closes off a female coupler to keep debris and moisture out of an idle line.

The compound resists moderate pressure, atmospheric exposure, and corrosion in water service. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Brass delivers excellent machinability yielding tight, clean threads, good corrosion resistance in water and mild chemical service. Exposure to dezincification in aggressive water or ammonia and amine compounds will shorten service life.
