50 X 72 X 12 NITRILE OIL SEAL

MOS-050-072-012-TC is a Buna-N (Nitrile) Double Lip with Spring Oil Seal built to a 050 inch inside diameter, a 072 inch outside diameter, and a height of 012 inch. In service, this oil seal seals a rotating shaft against lubricant loss and contaminant ingress. The catalog record notes: Rubber Covered OD, Double Lip W/ Spring.

It resists hydraulic fluids, water, and propane and butane. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified for the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. It is not the right choice where automotive brake fluid or ketones are present.
