APG stocks the MOS-050-072-008-TC, a Buna-N (Nitrile) Double Lip with Spring Oil Seal measuring a 050 inch inside diameter, a 072 inch outside diameter, and a height of 008 inch. An oil seal uses a garter spring to maintain constant lip load against the shaft. Source specification: Rubber Covered OD, Double Lip W/ Spring.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is specified here for most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer, reliable performance in both static and dynamic service. The compound resists greases and lubricants, propane and butane, and hydraulic fluids. It is not the right choice where strong acids or polar solvents are present.
