Aflas (TFE/P) is specified here for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and high-temperature steam capability that most fluoroelastomers cannot match. It resists high-temperature steam, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and strong bases. It should not be specified for service in some chlorinated solvents or aromatic hydrocarbons.
