.500" C/S (1/2") (12.70 MM) EPR

The 0282500 is a black EPDM (EPR) 70 Shore A O-Ring Cord Stock built to a cross section of 0.5 in (12.7 mm). This o-ring cord stock eliminates long lead times on large-diameter custom rings.

The material holds up against dilute acids and alkalis, brake fluid, and water and steam. EPDM (EPR) is specified for good electrical insulating characteristics, excellent hot water and steam resistance. Exposure to mineral oil-based lubricants or petroleum oils and fuels will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include brake and phosphate ester systems, water and steam systems, and potable water applications.
