.500 FLUOROELASTOMER Q-RING CORD

Part number 0Q283500 is a black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A quad profile O-Ring Cord Stock built to a cross section of 0.5 in (12.7 mm). An o-ring cord stock provides continuous extruded stock for building one-off or oversized rings.

The compound resists aggressive chemicals, many acids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Viton® (FKM) is specified for excellent resistance to compression set and permeation, very low compression set at elevated temperature. It is not the right choice where ketones and esters or amines are present.
