5/16" CARBON YARN WITH I.W. PACKING

The 11820312-10 is a Braided Inconel Wire Compression Packing with a 5/16 inch square cross section. This compression packing provides field-serviceable shaft sealing that can be adjusted and topped up without disassembling the pump. The catalog record notes: 10 LB. Box - Approx. 140 FT.

Braided Inconel Wire is specified here for controlled leakage that lubricates and cools the shaft, braided construction that conforms to the stuffing box. This material stands up to process media, shaft wear, and elevated temperature and pressure. Rated for service to approximately 1200°F.
