Part number H50001 is an AS568-001 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 50 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.029 in (0.74 mm), a cross section of 0.04 in (1.02 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.109 in (2.77 mm). An o-ring compresses into its gland to block fluid or gas migration across a joint.

This material stands up to many alcohols, water, and propane and butane. Buna-N (Nitrile) is known for strong abrasion and tear resistance, the most widely specified general-purpose sealing elastomer. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 250°F (121.1°C). Exposure to ozone and direct sunlight or ketones will shorten service life.

Typical settings include agricultural equipment, general industrial maintenance, and fluid power.
