568-001 GREEN HNBR (HSN) 70 ORINGS

APG stocks the HS70001, an AS568-001 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.029 in (0.74 mm), a cross section of 0.04 in (1.02 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.109 in (2.77 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability and strong resistance to rapid gas decompression. Expect good resistance to heat and oxidation, petroleum oils and fuels, and modern refrigerants. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to chlorinated hydrocarbons or esters will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in oilfield and downhole equipment, heavy-duty powertrain, and automotive air conditioning.
