This o-ring is supplied in AS568-001 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A measuring an inside diameter of 0.029 in (0.74 mm), a cross section of 0.04 in (1.02 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.109 in (2.77 mm), catalogued under part number U70001. It remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is valued for exceptional abrasion resistance and outstanding extrusion resistance at elevated pressure. The compound resists petroleum oils, abrasion and wear, and impact and shock loading. Continuous operating temperature is published at -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C).
