This o-ring is supplied in AS568-002 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A with an inside diameter of 0.042 in (1.07 mm), a cross section of 0.05 in (1.27 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.142 in (3.61 mm), catalogued under part number A80002. It provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

The compound resists hot water, sour gas and hydrogen sulfide, and strong bases. Aflas (TFE/P) is known for proven performance in aggressive downhole environments and exceptional resistance to amine-based additives. Continuous operating temperature is published at -25°F (-31.7°C) to 450°F (232.2°C). It should not be specified for service in low-temperature dynamic service or aromatic hydrocarbons.
