-002 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

This o-ring is supplied in AS568-002 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A built to an inside diameter of 0.042 in (1.07 mm), a cross section of 0.05 in (1.27 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.142 in (3.61 mm), catalogued under part number VITON75002. It seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

It resists petroleum oils and fuels, many acids, and engine and transmission fluids. Viton® (FKM) is known for long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments and very low compression set at elevated temperature. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in low-molecular-weight organic acids or amines.
