568-002 URETHANE 90 ORINGS -PREM GRADE

The U90002 is an AS568-002 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.042 in (1.07 mm), a cross section of 0.05 in (1.27 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.142 in (3.61 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

As a material, Polyurethane (AU/EU) is widely chosen for toughness that outperforms conventional rubber compounds and long wear life in dynamic reciprocating service. The compound resists petroleum oils, extrusion under high pressure, and ozone. Rated temperature range runs from -65°F (-53.9°C) to 200°F (93.3°C) in continuous service. Applications involving prolonged humidity at elevated temperature or acids and bases call for a different compound.

Typical settings include construction machinery, press and forming equipment, and high-pressure fluid power.
