Ordered as SH70003, this is an AS568-003 black Buna-N (Nitrile) 70 Shore A square profile Quad-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.056 in (1.42 mm), a cross section of 0.06 in (1.52 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.176 in (4.47 mm). The quad-ring provides a dual sealing band on each contact face for improved reliability.

Buna-N (Nitrile) is valued for strong abrasion and tear resistance, an economical choice for high-volume maintenance programs. Expect good resistance to greases and lubricants, propane and butane, and petroleum-based oils. Published continuous service range is -40°F (-40°C) to 250°F (121.1°C). Applications involving strong acids or polar solvents call for a different compound.
