-004 BLACK AFLAS 80D O-RING

The A80004 is an AS568-004 black Aflas (TFE/P) 80 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.21 in (5.33 mm). This o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

This material stands up to strong bases, brake fluids and phosphate esters, and sour gas and hydrogen sulfide. That behavior comes from the compound itself: Aflas (TFE/P) delivers strong resistance to rapid gas decompression and excellent electrical insulating properties. Service temperature is rated from -25°F (-31.7°C) through 450°F (232.2°C). Applications involving low-temperature dynamic service or some chlorinated solvents call for a different compound.

Typical settings include chemical processing, geothermal equipment, and downhole tooling.
