-008 BLACK CHEMOURS VITON 75D O-RING

The VITON75008 is an AS568-008 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.176 in (4.47 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.316 in (8.03 mm). This o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Viton® (FKM) offers the industry benchmark where nitrile reaches its thermal limit and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The material holds up against aggressive chemicals, engine and transmission fluids, and many acids. The material carries a published service range of -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Applications involving hot water and steam or ketones and esters call for a different compound.
