568-009 FEP ENCAPSULATED VITON ORING

APG stocks the TEV80009, an AS568-009 black PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® 90 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.208 in (5.28 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.348 in (8.84 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Expect good resistance to aggressive oxidizers, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. PTFE-Encapsulated Viton® is valued for long service life in aggressive chemical duty, excellent resistance to permeation and contamination. The material carries a published service range of -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). It should not be specified for service in installation over sharp edges without care or service requiring tight-radius dynamic flexing.

It sees regular use in chemical processing, aggressive-media valves and pumps, and pharmaceutical manufacturing.

TEV80009 ships individually. Nominal inside diameter is listed as 7/32 inch. As always, verify media compatibility and operating conditions against the requirements of your specific application.
