Part number HS70009 is an AS568-009 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 70 Shore A O-Ring with an inside diameter of 0.208 in (5.28 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.348 in (8.84 mm). An o-ring provides a reliable static or dynamic seal by deforming into its gland under assembly load.

It resists heat and oxidation, modern refrigerants, and sour gas and amine inhibitors. That behavior comes from the compound itself: HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) offers the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability, improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in esters or strong oxidizing acids.
