Part number VITON75016 is an AS568-016 black Viton® (FKM) 75 Shore A O-Ring built to an inside diameter of 0.614 in (15.6 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.754 in (19.15 mm). An o-ring remains the most cost-effective sealing element available for pressurized assemblies.

As a material, Viton® (FKM) is specified for very low compression set at elevated temperature and long service life in hot, chemically aggressive environments. The compound resists chlorinated solvents, engine and transmission fluids, and aromatic hydrocarbons. Continuous operating temperature is published at -15°F (-26.1°C) to 400°F (204.4°C). Exposure to low-molecular-weight organic acids or ketones and esters will shorten service life.
