568-016 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

Part number HSN90016 is an AS568-016 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.614 in (15.6 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.754 in (19.15 mm). An o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for strong resistance to rapid gas decompression, long service life in refrigerant and oilfield duty. This material stands up to ozone and weathering, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. Rated temperature range runs from -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C) in continuous service. Applications involving esters or chlorinated hydrocarbons call for a different compound.
