568-017 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

APG stocks the HSN90017, an AS568-017 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.676 in (17.17 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 0.816 in (20.73 mm). An o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is valued for excellent abrasion and tear strength, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. Expect good resistance to petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and modern refrigerants. Continuous operating temperature is published at -40°F (-40°C) to 325°F (162.8°C). It should not be specified for service in ketones or strong oxidizing acids.

It sees regular use in automotive air conditioning, oilfield and downhole equipment, and heavy-duty powertrain.
