568-021 FEP ENCAPSULATED SILICONE

APG stocks the TES70021, an AS568-021 red PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone 70 Shore A O-Ring supplied with an inside diameter of 0.926 in (23.52 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.066 in (27.08 mm). As a material, PTFE-Encapsulated Silicone is specified for chemical inertness of PTFE with the wide temperature range of silicone and a seamless PTFE jacket over a resilient silicone core. The compound resists wide temperature swings, strong acids and solvents, and nearly all process chemicals. Rated temperature range runs from -75°F (-59.4°C) to 400°F (204.4°C) in continuous service. Applications involving tight-radius dynamic flexing or installation over sharp edges call for a different compound.
