568-022 HSN90 DURO ORINGS

HSN90022 is an AS568-022 green HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) 90 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 0.989 in (25.12 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.129 in (28.68 mm). In service, this o-ring seats in a machined groove and forms a leak-tight barrier when compressed between two mating surfaces.

HNBR (Hydrogenated Nitrile) is specified for improved ozone and weathering resistance over standard nitrile, the oil resistance of nitrile with substantially better heat capability. The material holds up against petroleum oils and fuels, sour gas and amine inhibitors, and heat and oxidation. Service temperature is rated from -40°F (-40°C) through 325°F (162.8°C). Exposure to ketones or strong oxidizing acids will shorten service life.

Common environments for this compound include engine timing systems, oilfield and downhole equipment, and heavy-duty powertrain.
