568-024 URETHANE 70 DURO ORINGS

U70024 is an AS568-024 clear Polyurethane (AU/EU) 70 Shore A O-Ring measuring an inside diameter of 1.114 in (28.3 mm), a cross section of 0.07 in (1.78 mm), and an outside diameter of 1.254 in (31.85 mm). In service, this o-ring creates a positive seal at flange, piston and rod interfaces without added hardware.

Polyurethane (AU/EU) is specified here for very high tensile strength and load capacity, exceptional abrasion resistance. The compound resists ozone, extrusion under high pressure, and petroleum oils. Service temperature is rated from -65°F (-53.9°C) through 200°F (93.3°C). Exposure to acids and bases or prolonged humidity at elevated temperature will shorten service life.

It sees regular use in high-pressure fluid power, mining and heavy equipment, and off-highway equipment.
